Just a quick attempt at a vertical composition. Many of the beast digital artists seem to favor the vertical comps, they say the human looks deeper into it.....and that the vertical composition can be used in ways that just seem not to work as well in a horizontal composition....I dunno, but they do feel different.....But i have to agree, I think the human mind travels differently up and down as to right to left....this isnt the best example though xD i'll post some piece to show you want i mean later.....

The outward splash effect gives the impression of rapid motion. I don't feel like I'm merely gazing at the mountains. I feel as if I'm flying through them. Thank you for that feeling. Well drawn, and well done.
